A live-recording of a show performed by SoCal punk band The Crowd in 1989, produced apparently to coincide with the release of their album "Big Fish Stories." The performance includes several songs from that album, and is heavily edited with stock footage of scuba diving and marine science.

The infamous "Memorex" tape circulated the mid-west underground scene in the mid-’90s. Shot in 1993, the film captures a transient slice of post-’80s, pre-Y2K youth culture on the eve of a new century. Following a tribe of teenage heshers and burnouts at a skate park punk show, the film is a snapshot of the stray children of the boomer generation as they navigate their anxieties on the brink of social, global, and digital upheaval. Now, on its 30th anniversary, the original VHS tape has been restored in 4K, revealing a cultural time capsule of pre-9/11 American youth; a candid documentation of a moment both electric and uncanny.

ALL KINDSA GIRLS traces the evolution of garage/punk rock from its inception in the sixties through current interpretations. Focusing on the career of singer/songwriter John Felice and his band the Real Kids, the film examines the significance of music in the lives of performers and fans. In 1976, the year the Ramones and the Sex Pistols issued their first albums, ex-Modern Lover John Felice put together the band that would become the Real Kids. One year later, they recorded the garage/punk classic known as the Red Star Album. ALL KINDSA GIRLS documents Felice's evolving search for success

Lou Reed was wise to chronicle a concert by his early-'80s band, featuring lead guitarist Robert Quine and bassist Fernando Saunders. Reed had used them on his trilogy of strong albums -- The Blue Mask, Legendary Hearts, and New Sensations -- released between 1982 and 1984. This 52-minute video, shot at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ, in 1984, is a straightforward, no-frills live show. Reed, in black T-shirt and black leather pants, stands on-stage before a cityscape background and makes his way through a set that features both a selection of Velvet Underground songs, and his sole hit single, "Walk on the Wild Side," plus highlights from his three recent albums, notably such songs as "I Love You Suzanne." As such, the video makes a good Lou Reed career sampler.

Don Letts examines the history of this notorious subculture in a fascinating documentary, which features interviews with members of different skinhead scenes through the decades. Beginning in the late 1960s, Don fondly recalls a time of multiracial harmony as youngsters bonded over a love of ska, reggae and smart clothes as white working-class kids were attracted to Jamaican culture and adopted its music and fashions. But when far-right politics targeted skinheads in the 1970s and 1980s, an ugly intolerance emerged, and Don reveals how the once-harmonious subgroup has since struggled to shake this stigma.

Often described as ‘avant-garde punk’, Dublin musician Meryl Streek is dark and dangerous – a cocktail of rage and despair.
