The biography of the singer Francisco Alves. It narrates his father's opposition to his singing, his adventure in the circus, his love affairs and breakups, his discovery in a bar at dawn and, finally, his success cut short when he died in 1952 in a car accident.

To marry her fiance Dong Jifang, Wang Danlin and her father Zhuoran take the cruise home to Hong Kong. The daughter fails to see eye to eye with her father who covets after Dong's money for speculation. On the ship, she suffers intensive courtship from the Filipino Chinese Lin Yamang. Meanwhile, Dong is eager to match his old frame Bai Jin with the sailor Mai Qin, but Mai mistakes Danlin for Bai and falls in love with her, resulting in a morass of troubles. Finding out Dong's affair with Bai, Danlin calls off the wedding in anger. Dong responds by deciding to marry Jin. Their nuptials are saved with the timely intervention of Mai.

Despite a healthy downpour of rain, the ever-energetic DMX rocked the crowd at Cypress Hill's sixth annual Smokeout Festival in San Bernardino, CA, held in 2003 and now documented on this DVD. There's a opening montage and a couple other video effects, but seeing DMX pumping his fist in the rain is the most interesting visual here, since the presentation is uninspired and often with cameras in the wrong place.
