The speed with which these relationships last leads to the Goldfish memory effect, the belief that a Goldfish only has a 3 second memory is a metaphor for the transient nature of the characters relationships.

When that happens, Yothin tries to avoid him until King starts to feel that Yothin is not acting the same. Until one day, there is a fight between the schools, and Yothin is also present at the event. At one point, Yothin is about to be attacked, but King comes to his rescue just in time
