Lost Boundaries is comprised of footage shot by Julien on location, in England in the summer of 1985, during the making of the Sankofa film and video collective's first experimental feature film The Passion of Remembrance (1986), which he co-directed with Maureen Blackwood, another member of the collective. After threatening to commit suicide in 2012 if his music didn’t take off, Devon Hendryx (now known as JPEGMAFIA) created The Ghost Pop Tape with a new sound that seems to reflect his new feelings towards his music. The Ghost Pop Tape shows him at his most vulnerable and depressed state while he was living in Japan. It was released with a DVD film to accompany it. However, the DVD is currently lost media.
