Long ago in the Iron Age, a shadow loomed over a lonely village. For generations, the village youths are stolen from their families and delivered as sacrifice to a mythical beast - the Minotaur, that dwells beneath a great palace. Theo, haunted by the loss of his love in an earlier sacrifice is convinced that the beast isn't real and that his girl still lives as a slave within the palace.

Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades, vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, Perseus and his warriors will only survive if Perseus accepts his power as a god, defies fate and creates his own destiny.

Mitsumasa Kido discovers a misterious baby in the himalayas whom he adopts as his grandaughter. 16 years later, Saori Kido is a young girl troubled by her mysterious powers. She is saved by Seiya from an assassin sent to kill her. Saori then learns she is the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena with Seiya being one of her Saints sworn to protect her. Upon learning of her destiny, she heads to the Sanctuary to rebel against the Pope's murderous plot.

And so Acis, Galatea, Damon and Coridon, who are later disturbed by giant Polyphemos, are here in the puppet world, here again in the real world, like puppets, while theirs emotions accompany baroque gestures. Singers inspired puppets and vice versa. Furthermore, there are things that a human being cannot, but the puppet so, for example, become a giant Cyclops …

Five young friends are hanging out in the woods and discussing their different views on love. Freddy tells his friends about an ancient greek myth which suggests that humanity used to consist of people who were literally stuck together with their true loves. He then suggests that they should all pray to the old god Zeus so that Mary and Toby are reunited in their true form. Caty finds this suggestion repulsive but to her horror the others consider it to be a charming idea. The ritual works… but maybe not in the way they intended.

En route to Thebes for an important diplomatic mission, Hercules drinks from a magic spring and loses his memory. He spends most of the movie in the pleasure gardens of Queen Omphale of Lydia. While young Ulysses tries to help him regain his memory, political tensions escalate in Thebes, and Hercules' new wife Iole finds herself in mortal danger.

Hercules and Iolaus take time out from Iolaus' wedding preparations, to help a distant village under attack from "monsters". When they reach their destination, they find the monsters are in fact Amazonian women who are controlled by Hera. "Hercules and the Amazon Women" is the first movie-length pilot episode of the television series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys".

A reframing of the classic tale of Narcissus, the director draws on snippets of conversation with a trusted friend to muse on gender and identity. Just as shimmers are difficult to grasp as knowable entities, so does the concept of a gendered self feel unknowable except through reflection. Is it Narcissus that Echo truly longs for, or simply the Knowing he possesses when gazing upon himself?
