The Ghan is an innovative three-hour documentary that takes the viewer on an immersive, visually stunning journey on Australia's most iconic passenger train. In Australia's first 'Slow TV' documentary, The Ghan doesn't just travel through the heart of Australia, from Adelaide to Darwin, it explores the part the Ghan played in the foundation of modern multicultural Australia.

In late August 2016, the band of Floating Points travelled to the Mojave desert to rehearse and record before their tour of the Southern states of America. Whilst visiting Joshua Tree national park, they were struck not only by its physical beauty, but also of the sonic reflections from the rock formations. A unique sound of reverb, echo and phase shifting modulating the sound from its surroundings.They took advantage of this environment to write and record some new music at the base of some of these natural sculptures which was documented in this short film.

On December 21, Nicolas Vanier will set off with his pack on a new expedition called L’Odyssée sauvage (The Wild Odyssey). He will travel nearly 6,000 kilometers to connect the Pacific Ocean to Lake Baikal, crossing Manchuria, Mongolia, and part of southern Siberia. The documentary follows the preparations for this journey.

The film follows Billy, who travels in a pump on freight trains. In the way of life, the feeling of freedom and letting yourself be carried away by chance are attractive and they make the train bomb strive for a windy ride again and again.

Malachite was used in the furnishing of the lounge room at the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, which is why it is called the Malachite Room. Also featured are malachite items made using the complex technique of Russian mosaic. This semi-precious stone became widely used by craftsmen after the discovery of huge malachite deposits in the Demidov mines in the Urals.
