Between bars and shows, Dodô Pankada divides his time between his work as a barber and the stages of São Paulo's independent music scene, where he sings forró and other genres that are part of his Northeastern roots. Alongside him is Ericoness, a curious and eccentric outsider, who enters Dodô's world with the goal of documenting his routine and trying to understand what makes him continue pursuing his dream.

The protagonist is relentlessly hunted by a squad of black-suited mercenaries across buildings, rooftops, snowy mountains, and a decommissioned airplane, all while trying to recover a strange device. The music video was filmed in Rovaniemi, in Finnish Lapland, in October 2007, and Holopainen commented that they at first didn't plan to make a third video for the album, but when they were offered Finnish beauty, they couldn't resist it. He has also said that for once the lyrics actually fits with the video, which is "a sort of Lapp wilderness combined with the surrealism of Salvador Dalí". The video features guest musician Troy Donockley. The video has a steampunk theme with airships, and features the old sailor (the Islander of the title) walking along a beach through the fog dragging a boat behind him and haunted by ghosts of his past.[2] Later we see him in a flashback as a young man playing the uilleann pipes (portrayed by Troy Donockley) with trees blossoming after he ends his life by dropping anchor and being relieved of his burdens.

Simmons, best-known for her photographs of miniature rooms populated by dolls and of oversized objects—such as a house, birthday cake, and pistol—balanced on female legs, both human and fake, brings these characters to life in a three-act mini-musical. The film is inspired by three distinct periods of Simmons’s photographic work: vintage hand puppets, ventriloquist dummies and walking objects enact tales of ambition, disappointment, love, loss, and regret. Working with composer Michael Rohaytn ("Personal Velocity") and cameraman Ed Lachman ("The Virgin Suicides" and "Far From Heaven"), Simmons’s puppets come to life in miniature domestic scenes that echo real life.

A story about a boy who signs up for drum lessons, not knowing that his teacher turns out to be an amateur and becomes jealous of her own student's drumming skills.
