Louis lives alone with his father. When he tries to find his past, he is met with refusals. One day, Louis understands everything, or rather he believes. What if he had been fooled?
Mia, an aspiring actress, serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions and Sebastian, a jazz musician, scrapes by playing cocktail party gigs in dingy bars, but as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart.
In a small town in the 1950s a repertory company meets on Monday morning to start rehearsing the following week's play. This is a ghastly thing written by the aunt of one of the theatre's directors. The producer doesn't try to hide his annoyance about it, and is further exercised when the authoress herself arrives to help. The cast have to try and sort out real-life problems that keep intruding as they wrestle with the play's dire dialogue.

Carried away by his passion for women and gambling, he goes so far as to commit perjury. A classic revisited by Mesguich with a lot of visual effects: special effects, magic tricks, imposing sets. A playful staging for this tragi-comic play.

Lorette is married to Heller, a very jealous husband who has discovered a love letter from a former lover named François. He suspects (rightly so) Crémone, his best friend, and has vowed to destroy this rival. Lorette recruits a man, François Dominique, known as "Domino," to divert Heller's suspicions away from her former lover... who did indeed write the infamous letter. Domino will temporarily divert Heller's suspicions but will ultimately give rise to far more serious ones...
