Taken from the European tours organised for American blues musicians between 1962 and 1969, this release features performances by several popular blues artists, including: Big Mama Thornton, Roosevelt Sykes, Buddy Guy, Dr. Isaiah Ross, Big Joe Turner, Skip James, Bukka White, Son House, Hound Dog Taylor and Little Walter, Koko Taylor and Little Walter, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Helen Humes, Earl Hooker, and Muddy Waters.

When the immigrants came to America, their cultures entered the "great melting pot." In Michigan's Upper Peninsula Finnish immigrants mixed their musical traditions with many other cultures, creating a sound that was unique to the "Copper Country."

Fans continue to treasure the songs and performances of John Denver, one of the most popular recording artists of the 20th century. Before his death in 1997, Denver toured the world, landing in Birmingham, England, for the 1986 concert captured here. This musical celebration charts the lives and careers of some of the biggest selling acts in Irish rock, punk and pop from Van Morrison and Thin Lizzy to The Undertones and U2. From the pioneers of the showbands touring in the late 50s through to the modern day, the film examines their lineage and connections and how the hardcore, rocking sound of Belfast merged with the more melodic, folky Dublin tradition to form what we now recognise as Irish rock and pop.

Episode one of a series which follows an individual named Prawn as they try to become a musician before their first gig in 5 weeks time. Prawn travels across Britain interviewing different experts in their respective musical fields and tries to find out whats the secret to being a musician. In this first episode we see Prawn attend a Medieval Festival in Yorkshire.

'Nonsense' piece inserted between Acts Two and Three of Jethro Tull's A Passion Play, which bears no relation to the rest of The Play. In 1973 concerts, the band left the stage after Act Two and a filmed version of 'The Hare...' was shown. A spoken-word comedic interlude (narrated by Jeffrey Hammond with an exaggerated Lancashire accent) backed by instrumentation. Presented as an absurd fable, the interlude details (with much wordplay) the failure of a group of anthropomorphic animals to help a hare find his missing eyeglasses.

Eschewing music documentary conventions in favor of playful, ‘Varda-esque’ experimentation, this short, multi-media portrait celebrates the rituals and routines of reclusive British songwriter and painter, Mark Fry. What unfolds is a pensive amble through the landscapes of Fry’s life and present circumstances in the Norman countryside.

A joyous return to the stage for Zach Condon and his European folk-focussed indie project Beirut. This is music as imagined landscape, a romantic sweep of Europe's past through the eyes of an American troubadour. From his Balkan-tinged debut in 2006, through a bohemian France dreamed up on 2007's The Flying Cup Club and on towards the Dutch and Mexican influences of his later material, Beirut is clearly the work of a singular vision while remaining hauntingly familiar, a half-remembered dream of a past life. Latest album Hadsel was inspired by a short time spent exiled in northern Norway, an emotional return to form released in 2023.

On 29th January, 2011 Clannad performed an intimate concert at Dublin's historic Christ Church Cathedral. Also appearing in the video are singer Brian Kennedy and choral group Anúna.
