The musical, performed by the members as themselves, forming three main couples, is about love. Which is treated to the rhythm of songs where the members dance and sing representing what they feel in each specific moment.

"ASCO: Without Permission" is a genre-defying film that profiles the extraordinary, Los Angeles based, Chicano art group of the 70's-80's, ASCO, who merged activism and art as they challenged representation in the art world, Hollywood and the news media. Unrecognized in their time, they are now being considered amongst the most important artists of the 20th century. Utilizing a wholly original approach to filmmaking where nonfiction and fiction are interconnected through collaborative film works made with the next generation of Latinx artists, "Without Permission" reimagines what is possible today in cinema and art while celebrating an iconoclastic group that was far ahead of its time.

An unfortunate convent cooking accident causes most of the order of the Little Sisters of Hoboken to die of botulism. Before all of the deceased sisters can be buried, Reverend Mother Superior (Rue McClanahan) buys a camcorder and VCR for the convent - resulting in not having enough money to bury the four remaining sisters (which, by the way, are temporarily being stored in the freezer). In order to raise money to bury the four dead sisters, the Little Sisters of Hoboken (well, what's left of them) put on a riotous revue packed with hilarious, show-stopping song and dance numbers.

22nd of August, 1945. Japan lost the war and they loaded an 8,000 person Joseon laborer force onto a ship called the Ukisima to take them to the Busan Port. Using rare archival footage and interviews with the legendary anthropologist, Christoph von Fürer-Haimendorf, and adivasi activists from the 80s and 90s, some of whom were killed by Indian security forces for their opposition to "commercial forestry projects", the film explores the continuing struggle of the adivasis. It also focused on a moment of hope when the government brought in the Forest Rights Act (2006) to right "historic wrongs" only to betray that promise, so as to protect predatory developers against these expendable peoples.
