The presence of something greater, that can’t immediately be labeled as ‘a sovereignty’, but as something more than we can observe with modern science, is of great importance for the theme. ‘The Dark Side’, ‘Science & Religion’, ‘Immortal Essence’, ‘Rise of the Celestials’. This spiritual and often dark corner attempts to hold a mirror in front of you as a visitor and confront you, in order for you to open your eyes and add an extra layer to the event. Because of the presence of just one area with one stage, each and every visitor is submerged in the same story, that you all take home with you afterwards. This feeling of solidarity and understanding results in the preservation of the essence of Qlimax, while every edition enters a different chapter.

An intimate look at the Woodstock Music & Art Festival held in Bethel, NY in 1969, from preparation through cleanup, with historic access to insiders, blistering concert footage, and portraits of the concertgoers; negative and positive aspects are shown, from drug use by performers to naked fans sliding in the mud, from the collapse of the fences by the unexpected hordes to the surreal arrival of National Guard helicopters with food and medical assistance for the impromptu city of 500,000.

On May 10, 2003, for the first time on our planet, one DJ has filled a soccer stadium with 25,000 people for an 8 hour performance/set. The show featured guest singers, live bands and performers, plus stunning visual effects.

The film discusses the traits and originators of some of metal's many subgenres, including the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, power metal, Nu metal, glam metal, thrash metal, black metal, and death metal. Dunn uses a family-tree-type flowchart to document some of the most popular metal subgenres. The film also explores various aspects of heavy metal culture.

This was the band's second performance at the music festival and their first since the success of 'Nevermind' had elevated them to the position of what magazines called the "biggest" rock band in the world. It was also sadly their final concert in the United Kingdom.

The story of Elliot Tiber and his family, who inadvertently played a pivotal role in making the famed Woodstock Music and Arts Festival into the happening that it was. On July 5th 2008 the Amsterdam ArenA was filled with the Ocean of White. Escape from everyday life in freedom and community and live utopias - for many organizers and artists, the secret of the music festivals that make culturally weak Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania a place of pilgrimage for tens of thousands of people every summer. But instead of freedom, community and utopia, there was one thing above all in the festival summers of 2020 and 2021: silence.

Over the course of the six music festivals, friends Maxie and Summer will learn to accept the impending loss of their friend James from brain cancer through Marley, an up-and-coming musician whose own rise to the main stage will provide a positive anchor for them to move forward with their lives.

During the same summer as Woodstock, over 300,000 people attended the Harlem Cultural Festival, celebrating African American music and culture, and promoting Black pride and unity. The footage from the festival sat in a basement, unseen for over 50 years, keeping this incredible event in America's history lost — until now.
