Cruel history of Myeong Dong

A young woman got a sweet surprise from her boyfriend: a trip to Seoul with her two besties who love K-Dramas much like herself. She had lots of fun, things are going so well. That is until she accidentally reunites with a past lover who never left her heart. Will this be a real-life K-Drama situation in the making?

Hee-soo is desperate for money and finds her ex-boyfriend who owes her money. He goes around to various ex-girlfriends to get cash and she trails along to make sure he does not cheat her.

Mr. Kim is jobless, lost in debt and has been dumped by his girlfriend. He decides to end it all by jumping into the Han River - only to find himself washed up on a small, mid-river island. He soon abandons thoughts of suicide or rescue and begins a new life as a castaway. His antics catch the attention of a young woman whose apartment overlooks the river. Her discovery changes both their lives.

Activist Kim Min-soo is a fugitive from the law as a result of his political campaigns. As he goes into hiding, he meets and falls in love with Lee Sun-young, a music graduate with plans to study abroad. But not long after, they begin to face obstacles. Because of Min-soo's fugitive status, Sun-young has to cancel her plans to study abroad in order to protect Min-soo. Eventually, the couple elope and Sun-young becomes pregnant, but eventually, the police finds Min-soo and arrests him.

A newspaper reporter becomes a witness to a murder and finds himself relentlessly pursued by the killer.

Kwon, a language school instructor, stops by her old workplace and receives a thick envelope addressed to her. A Japanese instructor named Mori had proposed to her two years ago. She turned him down. Mori had immediately gone back to Japan, but now was back in Korea looking for her. The envelope enclosed letters he had written to her during his search through Seoul. After Kwon finishes the first letter in the lobby, she grows faint coming down the staircase and drops the letters. She gathers them off the floor and sees there are no dates on the letters. She now has no way of knowing the order in which they were written.
