Takachi, a young porno star from a small town in Japan is found dead. His death provides the opportunity to show us his true emotions, and how his two best friends in Tokyo remember him. These two travel back to Takachi's town, Kochi, which Takachi himself had visited just prior to dying. In Kochi, all boys seem to be angels.

Ryotatsu, the wayward Priest blinded by Shinkai, the Wicked Priest, has his own story in this ultra-violent tale from the era of the Meiji Reconstruction. When a woman leaves her blind son at the Monastery, Ryotatsu is forced to teach the boy how to cope as a blind person in old Japan. When he takes the child with him on the road to find the boy's mother, they run afoul of not only yakuza gangsters, but some corrupt army officers have been trying to sway public opinion against the Satsuma rebels by posing as members of Saigo Takamori's group. It's a bloody mistake for them to underestimate the strength of the Blind Priest, and he'll make them pay with their lives!

The film painstakingly depicts the heartbreaking endings of a couple who are trapped in the past and gradually falling out of love, and includes a strong scene of sexual passion. Yuko (Satsuki Fuji), who is troubled by her marital relationship, is having an affair with Akiyama (Kikujiro Honda). Fumio (Toru Nakane), who is unable to handle his beloved wife, uses a duplicate key found in an old jacket to sneak into the room where Yuko used to live before their marriage.
