Monzetsu Biyōshi: Iro Geshō

Years have passed since the first film. Goro never got over the death of his partner and continues to drown his misery in alcohol. His latest work as a private detective involves spying on a man suspected of adultery by his wife. She happens to be right, but he's cheating on her with a male university student and not another woman. When that student turns up dead shortly after Goro delivers his results, he is initially indifferent. But then he's absudcted and beaten to within an inch of his life by people who clearly want to ensure his silence, and that changes things. Turns out, his past once again comes back to haunt him.

Akiko graduated from university's English department and got a job at Kosan Jitsugyo. She worked as a private secretary. Although her managing director, Kayo, is a woman, she is actually a career woman who runs the company. Masako, who works for Kayo, has a hard job, and she sometimes stays up all night.

Just two days ago, they had been captured, tied and tickled by a deranged woodsman (See The Happy Woodcutter). They managed to escape only to find their car wouldn't start. Now they have to make their way back to the village on foot. This means two more days of camping out. To make matters worse, there's another lunatic prowling the woods. When he spies the beautiful oriental Jasmine, he has a flashback to his tour duty in Vietnam. Unable to distinguish reality from delusion, sees Jasmine as a Viet Cong. He captures her, ties her up and subjects her to a cruel interrogation. Julie is soon captured and treated in a similar manner. What started out as a fun camping trip has turned out to be an ordeal of bondage and terror.
