After the success of the live 1957 Cinderella on CBS (with Julie Andrews), the network decided to produce another television version. The gang decides to help them out buy buying vegetable oil at the local store and return to the lodge. While at the lodge the gang and the refuge aliens encounter the alien leader with his army have just taken over the Ski lodge. How will the gang be able to save their refuge friends from another world?

This one hour TV special promoting the release of Can't Stop the Music featured the film's stars (The Village People, Valerie Perrine, Steve Guttenberg and Bruce Jenner) with guest appearances by Cher, Hugh Hefner and others.
