Ramayana: The Epic

The grouchy Makhichoos, whoe hates Diwali, is digging furiously in the Dholakpur forest searching for a demon. Soon the demon emerges from the roots of a tree. Both the evil witch and Makhichoos plan to build a new kingdom on the eve of Diwali and teach Bheem a lesson. While Bheem and his friends are preparing for the celebrations, Chhota Hanuman also comes there to be a part of the festival. But something worse happens; Makhichoos and the evil witch kidnap princess Indumati. Will Bheem and Hanuman together rescue Indumati and triumph over the evil.

Their friendship, habits, and hobbies are the same, so much so that both fall in love with the same young woman, Reshma. But Reshma gives her heart to Shankar, and decides to marry him. This angers Shambhu, and he decides not to have to do with Shankar and his mom anymore. Then the Thakur's new-found son decides to close the ferries, and operate a motorized boat. He challenges Shankar to a race, with the loser having to leave the community and the profession, to which Shankar agrees.

When the Deputy Commissioner of Police Khanna is murdered before the hearing of a high-profile case, the lead prosecutor begins conducting her own investigation.

When Dharamdutt comes to know about Gautam, he asks his personal hit-man to get rid of him. The personal hit-man is none other than Govinda - a man who has never been beaten by anyone.

Ahmed and Mohan Kumar Saxena are petty thieves, and con-men. They career is spent as false witnesses near the Bombay courts, where they get paid a set sum of rupees for false depositions. This changes when they meet and are influenced by Kabir Das, and decide to go straight. They find that it's virtually impossible to earn a living as honest citizens. Then Kabir Das is arrested and imprisoned by a murder he claims he did not commit, and the duo promise to help him, and find out who the real killer is, but they themselves end up getting in trouble.

Thakur Vikram Singh (Om Shivpuri) is informed by a museum curator that an ancestral sword donated by his father has been stolen. This is important because it bore half the location of a hidden treasure. The other half is on a sword still in Singh's possession, and he must guard it. He finds a thief, Avvtar Singh (Madan Puri) attempting to steal the sword, and stops him. Avvtar grabs Thakur's son, Mohan, and escapes. He is to exchange sword for son at the black hills, but his car is stolen by a thief, who raises Mohan as his own under the name Raju. Raju (Rajnikanth) grows up to be a car thief, and eventually encounters his family as his enemies.

Vinod, a flamboyant secret agent, is assigned to investigate the kidnapping of an eminent scientist. He enlists the help of the scientist's daughter, Anju, and together they confront the abductors.

Amidst the fall of princely states in post-independence India, the friendship between Vikram, who comes from an aristocratic family, and a peasant is tested. Vikram turns vengeful after his brother is killed in a peasant colony.

Found in a garbage bin, abandoned by his biological parents, a young man grows up to a paid assasin, kidnapper, and rapist (Anil Kapoor). One of his rape victims' is Jyoti (Juhi Chawla), who is raped on the day of her marriage to a doctor groom. Her life ruined, unwed, she decides to convince her rapist to marry her, and goes to live in his neighborhood. But her rapist will not marry her, however, she continues to pursue her goal, and after feigning a pregnancy she does convince him to allow her to move in with him - amongst ruins, without a roof. She soon starts to transform him, with considerable success. She names him Deepak, so that he has a name others can call him by. Deepak receives a contract to kill Kaameshwari (Rohini Hattangadi) by Jaikal (Amrish Puri).
