To the Least of My Brothers and Sisters is a new documentary on the life of Jerome Lejeune, the Father of Modern Genetics that was made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his death. Filmed on two continents, it contains numerous interviews with former colleagues, families, current medical researchers, and others, all who express the importance of Jerome Lejeune in both the history of medicine and the defense of the dignity of human life.

The story of Dwight Core, Jr. and his family, following up the events of the home documentary "Think of Me First as a Person", shot decades ago by his father Dwight Core, Sr. and portraying the love a boy with Down syndrome shares with his four sisters, but also a heartache common to the era's disabled: leaving home for an institution. The little boy, Dwight Core, Jr., grew into a tall, 48-year-old man who enjoyed coloring and watching television in the living room of the Ocean View section of Norfolk, Virginia home he shared with one of his sisters, Cindy Klingler. In 2007, filmmaker Roger M. Richards brought the story of Dwight Core, Jr. to the present, documenting him as a grown man and the continuing love and devotion of his sisters to their brother.

Ate Bunso is a performative documentary film by Angelica Llanera that shows the story of her family as they raise their Down Syndrome family member, Daniel. Ever since she was born, Angelica has embraced the role of being an "Ate" or older sister to Daniel despite being younger than him. She also shares how society negatively perceived them in the early years and how the media changed that for her family and the people who share a similar life situation with them.

In 1974 documentary film maker Tom Alandh did a TV story about institutions for the mentally retarded. Then he met Martina, who was five and who had Down syndrome. For 35 years, which is unique in the Swedish television history, Tom Alandh and photographer Björn Henriksson has followed Martina's struggles against all odds.

The story of Florida gymnast Daiana Casella, who, along with her family and teacher, overcame the obstacles that Down syndrome could put in her way. In addition to her training and preparation for future competitions, Daiana works as an artistic gymnastics teacher for a large number of children with whom she maintains a very special relationship. A well-known Thai writer/publisher Nong Wongthanong travelled to Italy last year.
