Martin Mystery has a passion for all things paranormal. When he's not at school, this teenage lover of supernatural ooze works undercover for a secret bureau specialising in mysterious phenomena. Together with his older stepsister Diana, Java (a massive caveman lost in time) and Billy (a small green hovering creature), he checks out weird wonders. A washed up horror film director named Kôji Kuroishi (played by Kôji Shiraishi) and his assistant director named Miho Ichikawa visit a house deep in wooded mountains to film a movie. Once arrived, they meet a mentally deranged woman named Maria Miyoshi who proclaims she's a fan of Kuroishi's works. The woman pleads that she's experienced the same things as documented in Kuroishi's works. Unexplainable phenomena quickly begin to happen, so Kuroishi sets out to document these experiences and turn them into a film, together with the help of a 'super volunteer' named Shôhei Uno and a handsome psychic medium named Nanashi.

A cohabitation comedy about a ghost of a high school girl who has been dead for 5 years and an exorcist college boy with the ability to see and hear ghosts. What he’s discovered over the years is that he can touch them and fight them off, so when he’s in need of a part-time job and can’t find one that pays well enough, he starts putting ads online as an exorcist for hire. His ad: “Will face off with your ghosts. Chances of winning: virgin ghosts 80%, bachelor ghosts 40%, child ghosts 97%, the rest 50%.” One night he goes out on the job and faces off with a schoolgirl ghost, and during the fight, they accidentally kiss and sparks fly."

Akuma Kun, a boy raised by a demon, works with his half-human partner Mephisto III as paranormal investigators to solve various murder and mysteries.

Tawarat was born disfigured and weird looking. He was very rebellious and tortured many girls. He was a womanizer who mistreated women and beat them up if he didnt get his way. One day his father died and Tawarat was left in the big house cursed. All the workers left his side because they couldn't stand his meanness. Years past and he became the ghost of that house. Pakwan moved in the apartment with her friend Temjai. The apartment was next to Tawarat's big mansion. In the eyes of people, that house was so old and ugly. The owner of the apartment's mother had an affair with Tawarat but later killed herself because she didn't want to be Tawarat's slave. Pana is a photographer who takes pictures of superstition activities who also moves in one of the apartments too. He later on helps Pakwan to discover the true story behind Tawarat and his ugliness.

Loki, the Norse god of mischief, has been exiled to the human world for what was apparently was a bad joke. Along with being exiled, he’s forced to take the form of a child.
