Voodoo tradition is too often victim of misperceptions and stereotypes in the Western imagination. In Togo, Voodoo is revealed in all its splendour and complexity. Through spectacular ceremonies, consultations and rites, an intimate connection is revealed that unites the visible world with that of invisible forces. By giving a voice to those who live and practise Voodoo, an authentic and nuanced perspective emerges, revealing the richness of this mysterious spirituality. It's a genuine burst of curiosity about a living heritage and the sumptuousness of its traditions.

By the time it was brought under control, eighteen months later, more than 3,500 were dead and thousands more infected. The film begins as Ebola arrives in one of Sierra Leone’s main towns, Makeni, home to a local film-maker Tyson Conteh. Tyson and his film crew risked their lives to record at close quarters the tragedy unfolding around them. Sadly, not all of the film-makers survived. But what they recorded over months of filming isn’t just recent history - “Standing Among the Living” provides a grim warning for the future.
Famous beaches, fascinating lagoon landscapes, and sunshine practically all year round. Florida's west coast is a true paradise. Along the Gulf of Mexico, the numerous river deltas harbor a wide variety of plants and animals. Possibly the most characteristic species of the region is the manatee. They are curious and rarely afraid of humans. In the shallow waters around the lagoon town of Crystal River, you can even swim with these enormous animals. This documentary takes us to visit the smallest post office in the USA, with recipients in the middle of nature, to meet the legendary, but noisy, swamp boats in the Everglades, and to delve into the world of the famous sponge hunters.
