AMERICAN REFLEXXX is a short film documenting a social experiment that took place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Alli Coates filmed performance artist Signe Pierce as she strutted down a busy oceanside street in stripper garb and a reflective mask. The pair agreed not to communicate until the experiment was completed, but never anticipated the horror that would unfold in under an hour. The result is a heart wrenching technicolor spectacle that raises questions about gender stereotypes, mob mentality, and violence in America.

FA Cup Semi-Final: Huddersfield Town v Notts County at Turf Moor. This newsreel item on the Turf Moor FA Cup Semi-Final 25 March 1922 captures the first half action from the goal defended by Huddersfield Town. Unfortunately for Huddersfield fans, the short film only covers Notts County's first half goal, and some excellent defending by the Huddersfield team. Huddersfield Town won the match 3-1, and would face Preston North End in the Cup Final on 29 April.
A quick-fire round up of the FA Cup second round: West Brom v Corinthians, Crystal Palace v Notts County, and West Ham v Leeds. The cameraman manages to capture four of the five unanswered goals scored by West Brom against amateur side Corinthians at the Hawthorns. Meanwhile, the match between Notts County (in white shirts) and Crystal Palace may not boast any goals, but the aggressive play was enough to rile the crowd. At Upton Park, George Kay scores the goal which would help West Ham to draw against Leeds. It took three replays between Palace and Notts County to settle it, with Palace finally winning 2-1. In the replay between West Ham and Leeds, Leeds won 1-0.
Evangelical fundamental Christians used the 2006 World Cup in Germany for their missionary purposes: over 10,000 missionaries were deployed to spread the "Word of God", convert people and collect donations. The documentary aims to inspire reflection on the consequences of religious fanaticism, which, despite the missionaries' friendly demeanor, goes hand in hand with intolerance towards those who think differently. Free of verbiage, it hints at parallels between faith and fanaticism using purely visual means and cleverly intersperses basic information as animated infographics that shed light on the ideology of the evangelicals and how it is spread.
