An Hour and a Half

Cleveland 'Stack' Stackhouse is a guard with the Texas Correctional Youth Authority who witnesses the cycle of destructive choices and racial tensions among female teen offenders and decides to do something about it. He gathers African-American, Latina and Caucasian teens, and organizes a multi-racial track team behind the bars of the prison. Participation in Stack's track team not only breaks down the racial divides between the girls, but puts them on a path to turn their lives around.

Though they now have their freedom in life, they have to find their way in love.

Trouble ensues when her lover finally finds her after the match and begins beating on the exhausted fighter.

Ten years later, his son Oliviero, who becomes an ophthalmologist, uncovers the truth and wants to marry Béatrice, the Marquise's daughter, who became blind during the assault on her mother's castle by revolutionary patriots.

Former champion boxer Orlando Leone (Carmen) is "The Preacher" at an inner-city youth center. Wanting to give something back to the community, he bought a large building for a church youth center. But the cash ran out before he could finish fixing it up and now, the mortgage company is about to foreclose. With his bills mounting he agrees to one last fight.

The play concentrates on an uneasy relationship between Sarah and her servant to whom she dictates her memoir, as well as a fragile relationship between her memories, actual history and reality.

The legend of Floripes, is about an enchanted moor of Olhão, in the Algarve. Enchanted moors are one of the cornerstones of Portuguese mythology. They are often seductive and being temptresses, they can offer a powerful reward, but also a terrible curse. Left in Portugal during the Reconquista while her family went back to North Africa, beautiful Floripes was condemned to roam her ancient kingdom in the Algarve until a man could undo her curse. Then she would marry him and give him her fabulous treasure. But if the man fails, she must eat his heart.

A falling-out between a man and his ambitious wife results in their splitting up and moving far apart. She pursues a career as an actress, taking their son with her to Europe. Alone, they are miserable and they reminisce nostalgically for when they were together.

Brazilian badlands, April 1910. Tonho is ordered by his father to avenge the death of his older brother.
