What if we could see the universe from a different perspective? If we were not constrained to Earth's gravity, and we could fly across space and see the planets from up-close? Well, we'd probably freak out after we notice they have a face.

On the voyage from Old Earth to New Earth, a freak accident causes the Dogstar, a giant space ark containing all of the world's dogs, to become lost to mankind.

The Clangers are strange, long-nosed, pink, woolly creatures that live inside a small blue planet, which lies far, far away in space. Under the dustbin-lidded craters that cover the planet's surface is the cave system where these strange yet cuddly extraterrestrials live.

Each day, the gang hatches a plan to get off the island, but is thwarted by unexpected twists and turns.
