A castaway is interrogated by Interpol, conquered by an imperialist ship, loses his lone palm tree to greedy loggers, is consoled by a missionary who promptly abandons him, is thoroughly examined by scientists, and harassed by journalists.

A blue cat named Jof accidentally pricks his finger while sewing. He rushes off to the hospital to get his finger examined, only to deal with a doctor and his minions who want to test him for everything except his pricked finger.

The story of Beopup, a little fox who goes hunting in the woods and uncovers something rather unpleasant.

The story of a flustered young priest and a tricksy gargoyle with a taste for communion wine! Both characters are (again) taken from a longer and older story- about pirates, actually.... The little priest, Chance, doesn't make a terribly effective pirate. But the gargoyle does!
