Death of a Parrot

Henry, the pagan son of a white father and native mother, has inherited land and a store, but he prefers the simple life. When he falls in love with a native girl, her guardian, who is trying to bring her up as a 'proper' Christian, but who also lusts after her himself, plots to keep them apart.

The film tries to capture the "nervous epidemic" caused by war and misery which "drives people mad". This unique portrait of the life in 1919 Germany, filmed on location in Munich, describes the cases of different people from all levels of society: Factory owner Roloff, who loses his mind in view of catastrophies and social disturbances; teacher John, who is the hero of the masses; and Marja who turns into a radical revolutionary.

The whimsical Riquet's has kidnapped and married a well-born young girl, Ralda. They travel around Spain performing their act in a circus but Ralda's beauty arouses the director's lust. Furious at being rejected, he opens a lion's cage during Ralda's act, leaving her seriously injured. With Ralda's family on their trail, the young people set off to find a better life elsewhere.

A bear tamer is hired by a traveling circus and soon gets married to a snake charmer. Not long after the wedding, the snake charmer gets involved in a variety show, and to the bear tamer’s horror, one evening he watches how she’s seduced by a rich man who takes her home. A serving girl receives a telegram that she has come into an inheritance. The family she works for suddenly starts to treat her well, and several young men come to court her. Then she receives another telegram telling her the inheritances is only $25. All her new 'friends' desert her, except her poor boyfriend.

The film's events revolve around the lawyer Mumtaz, who loves flirting with women, despite his marriage, and continues to cheat on his wife, until she decides to teach him a lesson in agreement with her friend, where she pretends to be cheating on him with another man. Will Mumtaz be fooled and believe his wife's betrayal of him? Or will he understand the lesson and stop cheating on her?

The trio of a Wife and her lover plotting a murder for her husband. Their maid gets into Jail instead of them. This maid had a daughter that gets to be raised by her friend. The wife gets into jail shortly after she was arrested for misusing the well of her son. In Jail she meets with her maid and confess to her with her sin that led to this destiny, then she dies. After twenty years she gets out of Jail to see what has the fate introduce to her daughter and the killers daughter that share same lover.
