Moody Teenager

Ama is a silent film. It tells a story everyone can interpret in their own way, based on their own experience. There is no imposition, only suggestions. I wanted to share my biggest pain in this life with this film. For this is not too crude, I covered it with grace. To make it not too heavy, I plunged it into the water. I dedicate this film to all the women of the world.

The short film is a surrealist take on drug gangs, finding Rocky trafficking psychedelic butterfly wings as part of an organized crime ring. They run a tight moneymaking operation, and "Put That On My Set" showcases the importance of the rappers' crews in the illegal business.

In ancient Russian mythology Sirin is a bird with the head of a woman, a Slavic image of the Greek sirens. The ensemble of ancient Russian sacred music "Sirin" was created to revive ancient Orthodox singing traditions. It is an outstanding musical project performing folk sacred songs. The film tells about the unique work of musicians collecting half-forgotten melodies in the most remote corners of Russia.

A series of short vignettes set in a Berlin Mietskaserne (rental barracks for the poor), framed by Schönberg's atonal piece Pierrot Lunaire.

Tara was built by John Bergeron back in 2003 and 2004. John was trying to bootstrap the android industry just as I have been trying to do. She is a bit primitive but that is to be expected given the tiny budget available to John. In 2004 John made a music video of Tara singing. Some folks think its creepy, but I think its just a little spooky.

Ethel runs a run down saloon in Nicaragua. Word arrives that the soldiers are pulling out, and most of the American miners and all of the women must ship out on a vessel bound for San Francisco, but her boyfriend has been ordered to remain.
