Love Symphony

A dramatization of the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart beginning from the age of 17 culminating with his death in 1791 at the age of 35. It uses both original pop-rock compositions as well as pre-existing music composed by Mozart and other composers, including Antonio Salieri. Based on the French musical "Mozart, l'opéra rock" first performed in 2009.

This beautiful, gorgeous revue portrays a young man who floats down from space to earth, and sings and dances across the globe. Combining the classical revue, into which Takarazuka Revue has put a lot of care, with a touch of the modern, this performance is brought to you in a lively and energetic style. A revue focused on America from the 1920s to the 1950s - good old Broadway, magnificent Follies, glorious jazz and the glimmer of Manhattan. It combines a mature flair with a fresh, vigorous spirit, and is based on the theme of America at a time when the myth of high society was still alive.

There is a certain hotel which caters to people who have lost their way. People trying to get their lives back on track, or simply trying to find out where they went wrong. One of the people staying at this hotel is Wolf, who playfully follows the self-absorbed young Anna around the hotel. No one knows what he did before he came there, though he used to joke that he was an assassin. Anna is a one-hit movie actress who now spends all of her time cultivating "patrons" to support her.

In the realm of the dead, Luigi Lucheni is on trial for the assassination of Empress Elisabeth. The disembodied voice of the judge rings out, demanding to know why Lucheni killed her. Lucheni responds, in his own defense, that he was doing her a favor as Elisabeth and Death were lovers. He calls upon the ghosts of Elisabeth's family and friends to corroborate this statement. Death appears in their midst, a pale, androgynous, eternally youthful man who admits that he was in love with Elisabeth. (1996, Snow)

He has been going there sporadically, helping as a volunteer sent on commando missions to blow up important military targets (mainly bridges). In Madrid he meets General Golz of military intelligence, who sends him on his most dangerous and critical mission yet, to blow up a bridge in Guadarrama. It is a major hinge of a Republican offensive push, timed to begin in four days.
