The story of "Pallikkoodam" travels through the realities and imagination of a 12 year old boy named Althaf , hailing from a lower middle class family.

Soman is brought up by his elder brother Raju and his shrewish wife Janu. Soman is in love with Lakshmi, the daughter of a poor village performer Kaniyan who belongs to a lower caste. Raju, employed by the zamindar and Janu resent the inter-caste marriage between Soman and Lakshmi.

Murat is a very successful police officer. When Pinar and her friends, who belong to a wealthy family, are detained for drugs, Murat is taken to the traffic branch. But Murat, this time, catches Pinar for exceeding the speed limit. Pinar is released again thanks to her father's influence.

Ertan Ongun is German-Turkish, a child of migrants. He likes to refer to himself as Kanake. His buddies Mehdi and Kemal are of the same ilk. They do “business” on the street together, but because of their recklessness and sometimes great stupidity, they repeatedly offend both other criminals and the police.
