A Tale of Two Cities

At the end of the Edo Period, there was a legendary chivalrous thief who stole from rich merchants and self-serving samurai and gave to the virtuous people of the town. His name was Nezumi-kozo (Rat Boy) Jirokichi. This musical is about how he competed with and was friends with the hero of so many period dramas (Touyama Kinshiro), and about the loves they surrounded themselves with in the new and progressive Japan. A Takarazuka take on the tale of Nezumi-kozo.

Set in a fictitious duchy in medieval France. This is the story of how the son of an earl grows up as he searches for the truth about the death of his first love. Lucian, the son of an earl, receives secret orders to look into the truth of the circumstances regarding the execution of Lady Charlotte, a noblewoman who married into a neighboring duchy. Charlotte was executed for the suspicious murder of her husband, Lord Garnier. Lucian believes that Charlotte was set up, so he goes to Lord Garnier's lands to contact his heir Emma, Garnier's daughter by his first wife. As Lucian struggles to uncover the hidden truth about Charlotte's death, will both duchies be able to evade war?

Takarazuka Cosmos Troupe. The first installment of Tanaka Yoshiki's Legend of the Galactic Heroes was published in November 1982, and since then approximately 1.5 billion copies have been sold of his best-selling series of science fiction novels. Even now SF fans are still talking about his works, which have captured the hearts of many people.

19th-century Paris. At a certain aristocrat's home, the theft of a necklace occurs. Because of this a maid and her son Raoul are turned out of the house; ten years later, he has become a prodigy at Sorbonne University and is popular around the city. The nanny who has been looking after him, Victoire, is an author; her novel The Gentleman Thief becomes a best-seller and the protagonist Arsène Lupin is loved as an idol by the people. But the book is prohibited from sale, and in order to save his aunt and to have his revenge on those responsible for the earlier incident, Raoul hits upon the idea of becoming Arsène Lupin. He once again meets Agnes, whom he served in the aristocrat's home, and together they realize their love for each other.

A former officer. A belle of high society. In the past they shared a love that could not be fulfilled; now the two of them are reunited. The man went into reserve and visited his hometown in southern Europe. There he unexpectedly met a girl. Upon meeting the two were strongly drawn to each other. However, the girl has noble blood in her veins and had no reason to even acknowledge his existence. They had no choice but to part ways, without either of them expressing their feelings... Beckoned by her, he sets off on a journey into a mysterious world… This Mega Fantasy featuring powerful beats will showcase the many talents of Rei Makoto and the other members of Star Troupe.

Chuushingura is based on a true story from the Genroku era, and has been retold in all kinds of fiction. In this interpretation, this tale, which has been universally loved since time immemorial, is presented by the Takarazuka Revue of the love and fantasy-filled Reiwa Era in a way that’s sure to entertain. The times of Kuronosuke and Kira align, and love shines in the heart of Edo, in a clock romance ticking away in a world of baroque rock.

As there are increasing performances in the Takarazuka Revue, in 1921, the Flower Troupe and the Moon Troupe were born, and the first Flower Troupe performance was held. The year 2021 celebrates the 100th anniversary for the Flower Troupe. And in this performance, it will be led by the new top combi Yuzuka Rei and Hoshikaze Madoka. The glamourous work of "The Fascination" will celebrate the establishment and 100th anniversary of the Flower Troupe. In the face of executives insisting on selling UFA, producer Kaufmann, infused with the same spirit as President Klitzsch, declares that they will make a low-budget entertainment film that the public is sure to love. Who will take on such an audacious task? When Kaufmann himself is shuttered, one man takes up the challenge—Theo Wegmann, an assistant director at UFA. Foreseeing the end of the age of silent films, Theo suggests making a talking movie with singing. If Hollywood can do it, so can we here in Berlin! Taking shelter in the tavern is Sydney Carton and Lucie Manette. This is their first meeting. Lucie Manette, a young woman who has been raised as an orphan and a ward of Tellson's bank, has learned that her father is alive and has recently been released from prison after eighteen years of unjust incarceration. She is traveling to the French suburb of Saint Antoine with Mr. Jarvis Lorry, a longtime Tellson's employee who had managed her father's affairs before his imprisonment. They find her father at the home of Ernest Defarge, a former domestic of Dr. Manette's who has housed the doctor since his release. Though her father is teetering on the brink of insanity, she solemnly vows that she will be true to him and devote her life to helping him recover himself. (Takawiki)

Count Monteiro, the master of one of the many large, prosperous coffee plantations which ringed São Paulo, had decided to make his son, Antonio, the head of the plantation and return home to Portugal. Antonio was too young to manage the plantation so the Count intended to appoint two trustees of the estate: Julio as manager and Altoul as the family representative.
