Antonio was too young to manage the plantation so the Count intended to appoint two trustees of the estate: Julio as manager and Altoul as the family representative.

Later, Nakano Ooe arrives and tells Nukata that she has grown and become very lovely. He has fallen in love with her, and wants her for his own. On the other hand, the second son of the marquis family, Leonardo, is more free-spirited than Antonio. He believes that Pamela is a wicked woman who will lead his older brother to ruin. He therefore sets up a false romance to separate them, however...
