A group of inmates decide to take on a workshop to act the life of Andrés Bazán Frías. Bazán Frías was born in poverty at the end of the XIX century and was known for stealing food to give to his neighbors. In 1923 he was murdered by the police. He became known as the "Robin Hood tucumano", and is now hold as a saint amongst the inmates.

When soldier Robin happens upon the dying Robert of Loxley, he promises to return the man's sword to his family in Nottingham. There, he assumes Robert's identity; romances his widow, Marion; and draws the ire of the town's sheriff and King John's henchman, Godfrey.

John Lackland seizes the English throne, believing the rightful ruler, his brother Richard the Lionheart, to be dead. When he learns that Richard is being held captive by the German emperor and can be ransomed for a large sum of money, he refuses to pay and orders the messengers, including Sir Henry of Nottingham, to be killed. Sir Henry escapes to Sherwood Forest, which belongs to his estates. There he joins forces with a group of Anglo-Saxons and fights under the name Robin Hood against the regime of the king's traitors...

In Sherwood forest every day is a party. It is teeming with ladies with whom Robin and his lusty men have a great time. Until his greatest enemy, the evil Prince John, makes an end to all the fun. He kidnaps Maid Marian and locks her up in his torture chamber.

With King Richard off to the Crusades, Prince John and his slithering minion, Sir Hiss, set about taxing Nottingham's citizens with support from the corrupt sheriff - and staunch opposition by the wily Robin Hood and his band of merry men.
