Las Muralistas features women muralists whose works cover the walls of San Francisco’s Mission District. The muralism movement that emerged in the 1970s in the Mission District marked the beginning of a tradition of activism, expression, and community building through public art.

A creative journey through Richard Pochinko's seven masks and six directions, Vanessa reveals her clown while musing on the personal drive and struggles that inspire her art.

In the midst of a pandemic, government arbitrariness and the precariousness of Brazilian artists, the documentary shows how these four rappers resisted the difficulties of this period using only one weapon... music. Using plurality, creativity and cleverness, how did they produce music? What role did music play in this period? What did they have to do to stay alive as rappers?
