A documentary about punk and subculture scene of Pula, Croatia from 1978 to 1991, the city that gave birth to one of the most vivid punk and alternative rock scenes in former Yugoslavia, despite having population of just over 60,000 residents.

Europe in second half of 16th century was very rough place to live. Peasants of Slovenia and Croatia had even rougher times because of the constant threat of Turk raids and being taxed to death in order to provide defence against the Turks. But, the worst things were arrogant local feudal lords led by Franjo Tahi who were oppresing the common folk. All that led to the great peasant revolt of 1573. The movie is made for the 400th anniversary of the event.

Well-known Croatian author Pero Kvesić, who has been struggling with a severe lung disease, documents his death from his own point of view. Recording his everyday struggle, the picture resembles a peculiar blog filled with self-irony and witty comments about life and death. Although the world around continues to shrink, the hero and the director in one does not cease to fill it with sense.

Osijek, Eastern Croatian Front, 1991. British ecologist Henry arrives in town to find and protect the oak in the village of Stari Rastovac, believed to be the oldest of its kind in the world, from getting torn down by both enemy forces and Croatian soldiers. He's joined in his efforts by a British reporter, a mysterious local teenage guide and a member of the Croatain National Guard, with the merry crew encountering a slew of troubles and misadventures along their way through the no man's land.

During the Croatian War of Independence, five members of the Croatian National Guard are held as POWs by a Serbian paramilitary squad. They succsesfully break out of their confinement, however, now they're forced to trek across no man's land, where death awaits at every turn.

In 1992, a Croatian guerilla plans a rescue mission of their comrades, who are being held in a POW camp situated in the Serb-occupied city of Gospić. They know they might not come back alive, but, friendship and loyalty to their country is what drives them forward.
