Set in Florida and inspired by Harmony Korine’s homonymous book, Leo Gabin’s film consists of a collage of YouTube videos, mostly self-made, which depicts negative yet realistic aspects of the lost American dream. Moreover, it interprets contemporary social and political reality similarly to how Korine’s novel collects allegedly documentary fragments of American culture.

She gathers a group of professional actors and actresses, and proposes a project based on a very particular experience: stepping on their fears through a metaphorical 'leap of faith'. As the project advances, individual conflicts will arise affecting the shoot, making the movie crew wonder whether or not they should go on. Will they take the leap of faith with all its consequences?

A loose collection of scenes in Hong Kong shot over a five-year period, this film begins with the Umbrella Movement in 2014 and ends right before the summer of 2019, when large-scale social unrest and violent resistance erupted.
