Wim Helsen Heden Soup! HOMELESS, KINGS, SAINTS AND COLD WATER FISHING: They all eat soup. Also mistresses love soup. They eat them with spoons, some dip bread in it or slurp on the edge of their soup bowl. One can of doing anything. Tomatoes, leeks, pumpkins, chicken. But loving thoughts, secret messages and mushrooms are allowed. And say nothing of balls. In mysterious faraway places there that make soup from nettles. Dogs bark for soup. One gets it warm from the inside (in his body).

This show was aired on the 25th december of 1961. In total seven million dutch people watched the show on tv. The show is recorded from the Minerva theatre in Heemstede, the Netherlands.

After his performance in 1961, he never wanted to do a tv show. It was a strange thing to know that millions of people were watching him on tv instead of going to the theatre and buying a ticket. But luckily he decided to do another performance for tv included, reaching 94% of the public

Another wise man once said 'every year deserves a New Year's Eve performance, and I'm going to make that performance !!' You understand, the latter wise man was Dolf Jansen, widely recognized as record holder for New Year's Eve performances of the Netherlands forever. Has he achieved something in his life ... In 2011, Dolf played his own performance and in between still the New Year's Eve, in close cooperation with Pauw & Witteman. In 2012, Dolf will play in specially selected theaters ... .. (roffel) ... New Year's Eve 2012 Exclamation Mark. Passed through the finished year, finished and boned within ninety minutes and sometimes at high (!) Pace.
