Young Dorothy finds herself in a magical world where she makes friends with a lion, a scarecrow and a tin man as they make their way along the yellow brick road to talk with the Wizard and ask for the things they miss most in their lives. The Wizard of U.S. is a social satire - an animated documentary about emotions, based on themes from the popular American novel "The Wizard of OZ", in order to illustrate how Los Angeles makes the American Dream come true. The film describes the observations, dilemmas and adventures shared by all of those, who just like Dorothy - the main character-want to be "the voice of their generation" and try their luck in Hollywood. A wicked king has taken over the Emerald City, and wants his daughter, Princess Gloria to marry the horrid courtier Googly-Goo, though she loves Pon, the Gardener's Boy. The camera follows two farmers placing a Scarecrow upon a pole in a cornfield. Pon rescues a Kansas girl named Dorothy from the evil witch Mombi, whom Princess Gloria has been taken to by King Krewl to freeze her heart so she will no longer love Pon. An Indian princess has a ceremony to bring the Scarecrow to life. Pon rescues the cold-hearted princess and they flee for help, discovering the Scarecrow, who promptly falls in love with the princess, and Button-Bright, a lost boy from America. They come to the castle of the Tin Emperor, Nick Chopper, and after oiling him, he falls in love with Gloria. After a bit of a chase aided by the Sawhorse and the Wizard, Mombi turns Pon into a Kangaroo, and a slough of Fred Woodward's animals battle it out.

Dorothy and Princess Ozma, the rightful ruler of the Land of Oz, find themselves at the mercy of the villainous King of the Skeezers, while trying to stop a war between his kingdom and the neighboring kingdom.

Our adventure begins as Dorothy is caught in a cyclone and lands in Oz where she meets the Lizard of Oz, a librarian and nutritional expert, who tells her of the evil spell cast over the land that has made everyone lazy. With the help of the talking magic silver exercise shoes, Archie and Lefty, Dorothy sets off on a mission down the Yellow Brick Road determined to bring fun and fitness back to the Land of Oz. Along the journey, kids at home are invited to dance-and-sing-and-play along while stretching out with the Scarecrow, performing calisthenics with the TinKid, and even trying pushups with the Lion! Some of the important values and lessons that kids also learn from our friends from Oz include: cleaning up your room, personal hygiene, healthy eating habits, making friends and teamwork.

It's time for the Oz Kids' annual Christmas party, and everyone's invited — except for Otto the Nome Prince, that is. Otto is so upset that he steals Andrea's invitation. And Andrea (who inherited her mother Glinda's magic) believes she wasn't invited and joins forces with Otto to get even.

Jack Pumpkinhead, a pal of the Oz Kids, who wants to take a boat ride with all of his friends. During the ride, the boat begins to sink and Jack and the Oz Kids enter the water. There they discover two mermaids who take them on a magical and adventurous underwater excursion. When Zog and the sea devils try to ruin their fun, the adventure gets more wild and exciting than Dot, Neddie and the Oz Kids ever expected.

Andrea, daughter of Glinda, who dresses like Ozma, accidentally sends Toto 2 to New York in a hot air balloon made by Frank, the Wizard's son. The other kids must follow the course set by Frank's computer to take them to him. When they arrive, their balloon is trashed, and they meet Rick, a homeless man who has adopted Toto. The strange appearance of some of the kids keeps plans to return from going smoothly, but are affected much more so by a clash of cultures.

The Nome Prince Otto finds one of his father's 1908 tunnels under Oz to the Emerald City. Boris, the Cowardly Lion's son, has accidentally released the hold on the display case of the magic belt, and Otto swipes it while the kids try to keep their parents from finding out what happened. When they try to retrieve the belt, Otto transforms them into ornaments in his father's favorite game, leaving Dot to discover who is who.

An earthquake stirs up yet another adventure for the Oz Kids. What begins as an innocent bus trip for Frank (the Wizard's son) turns into a wild underground ride for all the kids as they encounter dragonettes, merry-go-round mountains, an enormous teddy bear and more!
