An extreme psychological portrayal of a toxic relationship between two young lovers told from the man's perspective.

A woman must safe herself and escape from a bizarre black room where she waltz with her biggest fear and trauma. A Choreography of Violence is a short experimental film that tells a story about love gone wrong, domestic violence, and freedom. The story is told through contemporary dance, with no dialogue, for the entirety of the film.

Strains of Wagner's Das Rheingold and African tribal ululations collide with bi-/tri-sected television footage while negative-positive visuals smash heedlessly into their mirror images, an unbounded series of “meaningful” artistic fender-benders that amount to little of resonant substance.

He is even flattered that Nina is very jealous, but he does not want a child because he is afraid that the child will call him grandpa... The real reason for the conflict is that Max will soon be killed and only he knows that fact. The film is a reflection of the emotions and experiences of two lovers, inspired by real events that happened in a provincial town in 2007.

TRAUMA is a collaborative film project by Jesse Kanda and Arca first partially exhibited at MoMA PS1 at the end of 2013. The film follows a nonlinear narrative about the death of a salaryman, a drunk driving infant and takes place within a subconscious world. TRAUMA's score will span through Arca's existing and future works.

Although the images appear to be solarized, the film was actually contact-printed, combining high contrast black and white negative with a colour positive of the same image. The high contrast accounts for the tendency of shots to flood. Images in the film swell and contrast, often disappearing into pure colour… Oblivion employs extremely rapid cutting. Some of the images last as briefly as two frames. Child decomposes the materials and gestures that would compose us. The films are charged with a startling and playful musicality and poetic and rigorous compression. Each image and sound cuts deep and works over time containing hidden and unhidden detonations working against the manufactured ambush that images have in store. Agile dances through treacherous debris, they negotiate an obstacle course of polar anatomies zig-zagging with corkscrew twists and nuclear splits -- a gambol against the hazards.
