DF Retro explores the technology, innovation and history of video games from the past, giving them a modern re-evaluation while exploring just how even the most simple video games helped pave the way for the most advanced current generation blockbuster. EP Daily is a daily news television show that covers movies, TV shows, comic books, collectibles and gadgets. Created and executive produced by host Victor Lucas, and his Vancouver, British Columbia production company Greedy Productions Ltd, EP Daily has been a staple on airwaves since its debut in September 1997.

This documentary series follows videogame developer Double Fine as they set-out to create a classic point-and-click adventure game. The series follows industry veteran, Tim Schafer, and his team as they launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund the game and finally, three years later, ship the finished product to fans.

This docuseries traces the history of classic video games, featuring insights from the innovators who brought these worlds and characters to life.

Tropes vs. Women in Video Games aims to examine limiting, sexist patterns associated with female representations in games, and to illuminate how these patterns reinforce and perpetuate harmful attitudes about women in our culture.

Good Game is a program dedicated to video gaming. Each week it is jam-packed with the latest gaming news and events, top gaming tips, reviews and interviews with game developers and the people behind the scenes.

Icons was a documentary TV show on G4 that originally focused on significant people, companies, products, history, and milestones in world of video games. It was relaunched in 2006 and focused entirely on pop culture. It was cancelled soon afterwards. On May 10, 2006, it was announced that Icons was relaunching on June 3 with an episode focusing on J.J. Abrams. The show will feature a broader scope on things and people "men 18–34 care about, admire and emulate." Future episodes would focus on Marc Ecko, The Onion, and Family Guy. This change in format had been suspected, due to the recent episodes about George A. Romero, Frank Miller and the history of the King Kong franchise. The classic video game themed episodes continued to air on the network sporadically until 2008, under the new name of Game Makers.

When Games Attack was a British television show, that originally aired on Bravo from 2004 to 2005. The show was created and presented by Dominik Diamond in conjunction with Jonny Ffinch with whom he had previously worked on GamesMaster. Its main focus was video games.

Retrogaming Made in France

Atari game designer Howard Scott Warshaw, creator of the best-selling 2600 game Yars' Revenge, takes you on a trip through time back to the late seventies and the birth of Atari, and interviews the personalities that fueled the company, including founder Nolan Bushnell.

Filmed in five cities over a six month period, each episode pairs two indie developers together for 48 hours and challenges them to create a game based on a theme suggested by their peers. The series examines the creative process, technical skill, and friendships that form through a game jam event on a more personal and intimate level. Super Game Jam spans five episodes, each of which includes one of the five games - exploring intimate topics, abstract themes or complete madness.

Unlocked is a groundbreaking 8 part documentary series that provides firsthand stories by industry icons, celebrities, consumers, and field experts on the culture, technology, history, and future of the video game industry.

Through short documentary episodes, key features of The Last of Us are shown.

The Angry Video Game Nerd is an adult web television series of comedic retrogaming video reviews created by and starring James Rolfe. The show's format revolves around his commentary and review of older, but unsuccessful video games which are deemed to be of particularly low-quality, unfair difficulty or poor design. The series began as a feature on YouTube and later became a program on ScrewAttack Entertainment before moving to GameTrailers exclusively. The show was renamed The Angry Video Game Nerd to prevent any trademark issues with Nintendo and due to the fact he started reviewing games from non-Nintendo consoles such as those made by Atari and Sega. Rolfe's character, "The Nerd" is a short-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic. He derives comic appeal from excessive and inventive use of anger, profanity, and habitual consumption of alcohol while reviewing video games.
