Sean Connery
Biography
Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award.
Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000).
Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama.
On 31 October 2020, it was announced that Connery had died at the age of 90.

Filip Konstantin Kaspersen Lamprecht, born March 27, 1997 in Sankt Matteus Parish in Stockholm, is a Swedish entrepreneur and former model.
He is the son of Martin Lamprecht and Kristin Kaspersen. In 2021, Lamprecht was one of the participants in Let's Dance, where his dance partner was Linn Hegdal, and they won the final on May 15, 2021.
In 2021, Lamprecht founded the Amiculos group of companies focused on business and real estate development, where he is chairman of several of the group's companies, including with skier Marc Girardelli, journalist Hans Fahlén and businesswoman Gunilla Herlitz.

John Rollin Lupton (August 23, 1928 - November 3, 1993) was an American film and television actor.
Upon graduation from New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lupton secured immediate stage work. Then he was signed as a contract player at MGM in Hollywood. Lupton was lanky and handsome like James Stewart or Henry Fonda, but never achieved similar fame.
In the 1954-1955 television season, Lupton appeared in several episodes as a college student in the CBS sitcom, The Halls of Ivy. In 1957, he was cast in the ABC western series, Broken Arrow, which ran for two seasons. In feature films he is primarily remembered for his role as "Sister Mary" in Battle Cry and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter.
Lupton also co-starred in 1956 with Fess Parker in Disney's The Great Locomotive Chase. He guest starred on several television series, including ABC's 1961-1962 crime drama Target: The Corruptors! with Stephen McNally and NBC's Daniel Boone.

Kimberly McArthur

Gorgeously buxom and voluptuous brunette stunner Kimberly McArthur was born on September 16, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas. The youngest of three children, McArthur and her siblings were raised by her mother after their parents divorced. Kimberly studied dance, song and dramatic art at a university in Fort Worth, Texas. McArthur tried out for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, but failed to make the final cut. She was part of the musical revue "The Rock'n'Roll Girls," which was so successful that it was performed in Monte Carlo. Kimberly eventually moved to Los Angeles, California. McArthur was the Playmate of the Month in the January, 1982 issue of "Playboy." Kimberly went on to do a handful of "Playboy" videos and special edition publications. Moreover, she was in TV commercials for Kleenex, Merrill Lynch, and AT&T and was featured in the music video for "A Cowboy's Dream" by Mel Tillis. McArthur not only made guest appearances on episodes of the TV shows "Highway to Heaven" and "Magnum P.I.," but also acted in the movies "Young Doctors in Love;" a memorably sexy bit as Rodney Dangerfield's tempting topless swinger neighbor Ginger Jones in the uproariously raucous "Easy Money," "Malibu Express," and "Slumber Party Massacre II." Kimberly replaced Robin Wright as Kelly Capwell on the popular daytime soap opera "Santa Barbara." McArthur left the show after only three months and has since dropped out of the public spotlight.

Teresa Wright (October 27, 1918 – March 6, 2005) was an American actress.
Her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination came in 1941 for her debut work in The Little Foxes. She received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1942 for her performance in Mrs. Miniver. That same year, she received an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination for her performance in Pride of the Yankees opposite Gary Cooper. She is also known for her performances in Alfred Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt (1943) and William Wyler's The Best Years of Our Lives (1946).
Wright received three Emmy Award nominations for her performances in the Playhouse 90 original television version of The Miracle Worker (1957), in the Breck Sunday Showcase feature The Margaret Bourke-White Story, and in the CBS drama series Dolphin Cove (1989). She earned the acclaim of top film directors, including William Wyler, who called her the most promising actress he had directed, and Alfred Hitchcock, who admired her thorough preparation and quiet professionalism.

Barbora Bobuľová (born April 29, 1974) is a Slovak actress. Born in Martin, Slovakia, Bobuľová trained at the National Drama Academy in Bratislava before moving to Italy in 1995. She made her feature film debut in the Italian film The Prince von Homburg, that was selected to represent Italy at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.
For her work in the 2005 film Cuore Sacro (Sacred Heart), she won Best Actress Awards at the David di Donatello awards, the Ciak d'Oro awards and the Flaiano Film Festival. In 2006 she received the Nastro Europeo at the Nastro d'Argento (Silver Ribbon) awards from the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists. Bobuľová’s additional film credits include Il siero della vanità, Check and Mate, Mirka, Poor Liza, That’s It and Green Ashes.
American television audiences know Bobuľová from her starring role in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie In Love and War. Her additional TV credits include the Italian miniseries La Cittadella, La guerra è finita and Crociati. In 2008, Bobuľová co-starred with Shirley MacLaine in her first English-language film, a Lifetime original biopic, Coco Chanel.

Jody Hill

Jody Hill (born October 15, 1976) is an American film director and screenwriter from Concord, North Carolina. In 2006 he directed, co-wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in his first film The Foot Fist Way, which he based on his experience as a Taekwondo black belt and instructor. His follow-up film, Observe and Report, stars Seth Rogen and was released on April 10, 2009. Hill is also co-creator and executive producer of the HBO series Eastbound & Down.
The Foot Fist Way was seen by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay who bought the distributing rights to the film. This led to a cult following. He was invited to the set of Knocked Up where he met future collaborator, Seth Rogen. Hill was asked to do a cameo appearance with writing partner Ben Best in Rogen's next film, Superbad as Tut Long John Silver. Hill later cast Rogen as the leading man in his film, Observe and Report which opened at number 4 at the box office. The role of Ronnie was written specifically for Rogen. Hill is married to Collette Wolfe, who is an actress also seen in his movies Observe and Report and The Foot Fist Way.
In 2010, Hill directed the parody music video Swagger Wagon as part of ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi's campaign for the Sienna SE minivan from Toyota.
Hill's next film L.A.P.I. was announced as an action comedy about a hardboiled private investigator, played by friend and frequent collaborator Danny McBride. It is the first film Hill has directed but not written. The script was written by Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan, who have written two scripts on the 2009 Black List: Comi-Con and a remake of Brewster's Millions. It is also the first film produced by Hill's, McBride's, and friend David Gordon Green's new production company, Rough House Pictures. L.A.P.I. is announced for release in 2011.

Denise Benoit

Denise Benoît (10 September 1919 – 29 May 1973) was a French actress and singer, active across a wide range of genres on the stage, radio and television. Other members of her family were musicians.
From a family of musicians, she was a daughter, grand-daughter and great-grand-daughter of musicians. Her mother (Léontine Benoît-Granier, died 1957) was a musician and composer who won prizes at the Paris Conservatoire, while her father Henri Benoît was a notable viola player in Paris, who was a member of the Capet Quartet in the 1920s, participating in several of their recordings during that period. Her brother, Jean-Christophe Benoît (born 1925) was a popular and much recorded baritone. Born Denise Marie Armande Frédérique Benoît in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, Denise spent the bulk of her career there, and died in the same city while still active.
Denise Benoît began learning the violin at the age of three from her father, later continuing with her mother. As a young woman, she began her professional life playing in Parisian theatre orchestras; while at the Théâtre Marigny a man looked into the pit and asked her whether she would not prefer to be playing on stage rather below it. Through several theatrical contacts she became the student of Jean Meyer, spent a year the Conservatoire and began her acting career in 1942. Her break-through came with an "unforgettable" portrayal of Natalia Stepenovna in A Marriage Proposal by Tchekhov. Her first role, in Sixième étage, was as a cleaning lady, and this debut tended to type-cast her for some time as servants, concierges and domestics. On screen she became restricted to being a secretary, a domestic and a waitress, and so began to refuse this type of role.
In 1945 while a student of André Brunot at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique in Paris she took part in a televised play by Courteline; at the time she was only recognized as an actress, with her singing career yet to begin. In the 1950s, living in the Boulevard Malesherbes, Paris, already well-known on disc, she had facilities for recording at her apartment.
Léontine, Jean-Christophe and Denise appeared together on record in some of the 'Chants de France' folksong series on Ducretet-Thomson. The extensive series of records of folk songs from around France was the brain-child of her mother Léontine, so it was natural that the family were at the centre of these recordings.
In the 1950s she began a long association with radio broadcasting, which at the time she expressed a preference for, including for ten years on the regular programme of Louis Ducreux. While taking a respite for the birth of her first child in the early 1950s, Joseph Kosma guided her in broadening her song repertoire and wrote a few for her. After this, a career in cabaret began, with appearances at L'Écluse on the Left Bank, and she sang at other venues until the birth of a daughter in 1957.

John Henson

John Morris Henson (born July 11, 1967) is an American comedian, actor, and talk show host. Henson began his career as a stand-up comic. He started appearing in films in the mid to late 1990s. He was the longest-running host (four years) of Talk Soup on the E! Entertainment Network, hosting just over 1,000 shows in the four and a half years he was with the network. During his stint as host of Talk Soup, he appeared as a guest on Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
In 2004, he was the host of The John Henson Project, a short-lived comedy-reality show on Spike TV, and hosted several broadcast specials including ABC's Best Commercials You've Never Seen, ABC's Best TV You've Never Seen and, most recently, the 33rd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. From 2005 to 2007, Henson was the co-host of Watch This!, a daily television show on the TV Guide Channel. Henson has also produced numerous field segments on the entertainment industry for MSNBC and CNN and, additionally, had a small recurring role as a local newscaster on My Name Is Earl.
From 2008 to 2014, Henson co-hosted the ABC obstacle course game-show, Wipeout, and always ended the show with the catch phrase, "Good night, and Big Balls", a reference to the signature obstacle in the show. From 2017 to 2021, Henson hosted Halloween Baking Championship on Food Network.
Henson has also appeared in the Blink-182 music video for "What's My Age Again?".

Gilbert Bécaud
Biography
Gilbert Bécaud (24 October 1927 – 18 December 2001) was a French singer, composer, pianist and actor, known as "Monsieur 100,000 Volts" for his energetic performances. His best-known hits are "Nathalie" and "Et maintenant", a 1961 release that became an English language hit as "What Now My Love". He remained a popular artist for nearly fifty years, identifiable in his dark blue suits, with a white shirt and "lucky tie"; blue with white polka dots. When asked to explain his gift he said, "A flower doesn't understand botany." His favourite venue was the Paris Olympia under the management of Bruno Coquatrix. He debuted there in 1954 and headlined in 1955, attracting 6,000 on his first night, three times the capacity. On 13 November 1997, Bécaud was present for the re-opening of the venue after its reconstruction.
Born François Gilbert Léopold Silly in Toulon, France, Bécaud learned to play the piano at a young age, and then went to the Conservatoire de Nice. In 1942, he left school to join the French Resistance during World War II. He began songwriting in 1948, after meeting Maurice Vidalin, who inspired him to write his early compositions. He began writing for Marie Bizet; Bizet, Bécaud and Vidalin became a successful trio, and their partnership lasted until 1950.
In 1952, he married Monique Nicholas. They had three children.
While touring with Jacques Pills as a pianist, Bécaud met Édith Piaf, Pills' wife at the time. He began singing at her suggestion in 1953, with "Mes Mains" and "Les Croix". His first performance came the year after. His hits in the later part of the decade included "La Corrida" (1956), "Le Jour où la Pluie Viendra" (1957), and "C'est Merveilleux L'amour" (1958).
His first hit in the English-speaking world was Jane Morgan's cover version of "Le jour où la pluie viendra" (as "The Day the Rains Came", with English lyrics by Carl Sigman) in 1958. He began acting in the same period, starting with "Le Pays D'où Je Viens" (1956). In 1960, he won a Grand Prix du Disque and composed "L'enfant à L'étoile," a Christmas cantata. That same year, "Let It Be Me", an English version of his "Je t'appartiens", became a hit for the Everly Brothers, followed, over the years, by Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Jerry Butler, Sam & Dave and James Brown.
In 1973 he married Kitty Saint-John, with whom he had two children. He died of cancer at the age of 74.
In 1961, Bécaud wrote and recorded "Et Maintenant", one of the biggest selling singles in French history. Translated as "What Now My Love", the song became a hit by Shirley Bassey, Sonny & Cher, Elvis Presley, Judy Garland, Andy Williams, Herb Alpert and Frank Sinatra.
In 1962, he completed his largest composition, the 2-act opera L'Opéra d'Aran, which was premiered at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées on 25 October 1962 (Georges Prêtre conductor). The plot of the opera takes place on the Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland, although Bécaud had never been to Ireland before. ...
