The shot’s eerily static, but the house isn’t quite right. There’s no mold in the wood, maybe it’s the bug!

A young man goes through his everyday routine until he realizes that he is completely alone.
Short experimental animation about childhood, school and mathematics based on my exercise book in second grade.
Migrating by sea from Holland as an eight-year-old, Dirk de Bruyn went on to be a doyen of Australian experimental cinema. But as this intimate film reveals, his work is suffused with the trauma of migration, and the struggle to recognise himself as a ‘new Australian'. In conversation with documentarian Steven McIntyre, Dirk guides us through more than 40 years of his filmmaking: the early years exploring technique and technology, a subsequent phase of unflinching self-examination brought on by upheaval and overseas travel, and more recent projects where he attempts a fusion of personal, cultural, and historical identity. What emerges is an inspiring, rugged, and at times poignant portrait of an artist committed to self-expression and self-discovery through the medium of film.
Set against nostalgic analog noise, this is an ultra-processed film which pays homage to lost media and the dead art of videotaped home movies. Taking place primarily in the United States, two strippers look into getting hired at a club in Colorado, a young musician reunites with her family in Missouri, and a German woman flies from Berlin to the U.S. to help her friend finish a film in Texas.
Amidst a world in flames, a disillusioned workaholic returns to their childhood home in an attempt to escape from their apocalyptic day job.
A personal portrait of the stages of love: discovery, fullness, fracture, and rebirth.
A visual and acoustic reflection about perception, deception, truth and the medium of film itself. Between visibility, irritation, structure and dissolution, a space arises for one’s own vision. An experimental film that wants to be experienced.
The model’s feet are uncomfortably squeezed into the heels, and her movements are slippery on slick silver liquid, before she slowly and ominously destroys the glass pane separating the subject from the viewer.
Placing a word widely acknowledged as amongst the most offensive in the English language into the hands of each of the women in her video, Minter reclaims it from chauvinistic associations and rescues it from centuries of censorship and degradation.
STEINA: “My background is in music. For me, it is the sound that leads me into the image. Every image has its own sound and in it I attempt to capture something flowing and living. I apply the same principle to art as to playing the violin: with the same attitude of continuous practice, the same concept of composition.
On April 1st, 2022, my grandfather passed away and i felt lost. I think my path changed when, some days after he passed away, i was offered a small VHS camera. "Moving Memories" is a visual journey that makes the viewer reflect on our momentary presence on earth and questions the nature of memory. Throughout this journey, we get to the conclusion that memories are more than just static photographs in our minds, they're alive and in constant movement, changing while we evolve as individuals. These memories have influence and help us to move on.

A mother consumes abnormal objects in the hopes of granting her child desirable traits. While she has good intentions, her actions may not be good for her baby.
At midnight, two lab assistants study an unknown substance using machines and procedures that are unclear to us. They pursue knowledge through the strict logic of the laboratory. As exhaustion settles in, one of the assistants brews Turkish coffee for the other, and the night shifts. The process becomes a fortune-telling, and the scientific gaze gives way to intuition. Moving from analysis to foresight, the two women imagine another method of knowing; a space where rational inquiry and intuitive perception coexist.
Between light, metal and silver, a collection of solidarity pins turns into an archive of another scale: spectres of exile and international struggle against Portugal’s fascist and colonial regime.
Can I talk to you for a second? What if someone promises to tell you the truth? Would you believe them? A short film following a burnt out call worker, a thunderstorm, a haunted VHS and an event that changes their very idea of the truth. Mono was created by St Ghosty Creatives in 2026 following funding for their 'New Immersion' programme of work exploring immersive and technical exploration in performance and media. In this experimental short for his remix for Yoko Ono, Jason Whiton celebrates the Japanese meaning of Yoko's name, ocean child, with images of sea animals dancing and moving through their secret garden.
