Still Awake is a film that explores resistance and stasis through the consciousness of the body movement and the stillness of a woman in bed.

A woman visits a deserted old industrial building. Once there, she encounters two children. They lead her deeper inside the building and closer to their dark secret. What started as an innocent game, has suddenly become an odd ballet.

Set in a derelict theater, “Heartache” deploys tensely expressive movement in a darkly playful take on the dynamics of seeing and being seen. At once kitschy and confrontational, the dancers move with deadpan gazes through tight trios with razor-sharp precision and evocative gestures. Keratin is a collaboration with the London Sinfionetta, visually responding to Gavin Higgins' Seven Welsh Folk Songs: I. Dacw 'Nghariad i.
