In a New York boarding house, owner Daisy Bowman becomes romantically involved with new tenant Jake while among the other residents taxi driver Eddie, fiancé of Betty, is framed for murder by a gangster and imprisoned without telling Betty. The faithless Jake makes a play for Betty, causing him to quarrel with Daisy. Attempting to strangle her he is shot dead by Betty’s blind son. One of Jake’s cohorts, Pete, tries to take advantage of a drunk Betty but when Daisy tries to intervene, he threatens to tell the police who really killed Jake. Meanwhile, Eddie has been released from jail, he returns to find a drunken Betty with Pete and misunderstands. Jake's brother arrives looking for vengeance and believing Eddie murdered Jake, but Daisy tells him it was Pete. In the ensuing shoot out both are killed, and Daisy helps Eddie and Betty reunite.

The first film ever made by infamous German director Andreas Schnaas, which has since been lost. The film showcases two young men ruthlessly murdering an elderly man.

The film is a look back into the life of an extraordinary man, a man who has fittingly been called "an artist dedicated to concealment, a celebrity who nobody knew." As he struggled with self-doubt, engaging in a lonely tug-of-war between needing to express himself and wanting to shut the world out, Pollock began a downward spiral.

John Nisheto, a Native American, saves Senator's son Jack Burr during World War I. Upon returning to the United States, John begins a relationship with Jack's sister, Agnes, despite Jack's initial objections due to John's ethnicity and his ignorance of John's heroic act.

A businessman neglects his wife, who is tricked into believing he is having an affair. She packs to leave him, but is distracted by their little girl, and can't bear to go.

Upset that her parents are getting ready to separate a little girl grabs a handful of books and heads off to school without anyone’s knowledge. When her mother goes to look for her the only clue is a single book on the lawn. A passing delivery man tells her he saw a lonely lass with an arm full of books and the mother goes in pursuit of her. Finding the little one being held by tramps the mother and delivery man devise a rescue after which realizing how much she is hurting her girl the mother reconciles with the father.

Rev. Robert Martin is an ex-minister who has lost his faith because of his wife's faithlessness, and taken up a life of crime as head of a band of pickpockets masquerading as religious workers who ply their trade in the wake of a traveling carnival company. He tries to keep the true nature of his work secret from his daughter Julie, but she learns the truth while traveling with his band for a week.

Jose Fernand seems interested in luring Helen Barnes onto his ship than he is in smuggling. The innocent orphan miss goes, accompanied by her younger sister Alice. With the boat out to sea, Fernand proceeds to attack the girls.

An adventure tale set in the North Woods. The villain, smuggler Jules Payette, would give anything if Jeanne would give in. Saving her virtue in the nick of time is stalwart Pierre, who turns out to be a Northwest Mountie.

This mostly lost film is often confused with director Paul Wegener third and readily available interpretation of the legend; Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam (1920). In this version of the golem legend, the golem, a clay statue brought to life by Rabbi Loew in 16th century Prague to save the Jews from the ongoing brutal persecution by the city's rulers, is found in the rubble of an old synagogue in the 20th century. Brought to life by an antique dealer, the golem is used as a menial servant. Eventually falling in love with the dealer's wife, it goes on a murderous rampage when its love for her goes unanswered.

In the ruins of a world devoured by human greed, the last man plunges into a decadent frenzy: devouring rare plants, octopus flesh, the final drops of water, and eventually blood. But nature is not silent. A mysterious girl with a white rabbit appears like a myth reborn, blurring the line between legend and reality, death and renewal.

Minnie, the homeliest girl in town, is devoted to her father, a discouraged inventor who has been working on a wireless device. Subject to the sneers of her neighbors, Minnie "invents" a lover and sends herself letters and flowers. Her stepsister suspects the truth and threatens to expose her. Desperate, she claims an unidentified body at the morgue and tells a reporter that this is her lover, unaware that the body is that of a Chinese man. The absent-minded reporter sees her heart and forgets about the big story. After further disappointments in the invention, Minnie's stepmother decides to leave her father. Her father then has a success and becomes rich. At a celebration, the stepsister and townspeople are surprised when a new couple appear, which turn out to be the former reporter and his lovely wife Minnie.

Headstrong Mavis Cole defying her grandfather runs away with the wealthy but caddish Herbert Whitman. Proving he’s no good Herbert plants a stolen necklace on Mavis and attempts to have her arrested when he comes under suspicion, so Mavis flees to a hunting lodge then entering into a marriage of convenience with Jimmy Ryder to hide her identity. Meanwhile, Herbert bribes ex-convict Steve La Marche to steal a jewel from Dorothy Grosscup but Jimmy captures the thief, though he claims innocence. Dorothy accuses Mavis of the theft, but she is cleared by Steve, resulting in Herbert's arrest.

New York City society girl Evelyn Whitney is determined to prove that she can make her own living on the Lower East Side. Having no luck with her first attempts she succeeds as cafe singer Mary Malone falling for former gang leader Larry Marshall along the way. Trouble comes when the jealous Stella attempts to stab Evelyn and is shot by Larry. Evelyn flees to her home and becomes seriously ill, but learning that Larry is on trial for murder, she rallies to testify on his behalf.

Marian marries Arthur, a party-loving man, hoping to reform him, but he becomes restless and starts an affair with a dancer, leading Marian to seek comfort in her old friend Tom.

Prim professor Immanuel Rath finds some of his students ogling racy photos of cabaret performer Lola Lola and visits a local club, The Blue Angel, in an attempt to catch them there. Seeing Lola perform, the teacher is filled with lust, eventually resigning his position at the school to marry the young woman. However, his marriage to a coquette -- whose job is to entice men -- proves to be more difficult than Rath imagined.

Francis, a young man, recalls in his memory the horrible experiences he and his fiancée Jane recently went through. Francis and his friend Alan visit The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, an exhibit where the mysterious doctor shows the somnambulist Cesare, and awakens him for some moments from his death-like sleep.
