Bandidos

The story is settled in the Middle Ages when three monotheistic religions coexisted and fought for power in the Spanish Peninsula: Christians, Muslims and Jews. The series mixes action, intrigue and love in the Castilian capital of Toledo. It shows us about all those who lived in the walls of a city full of ups and downs, labyrinths and shady hiding places.

During the second world war, the Nazis looted everything they could get their hands on, including an estimated 600 tons of gold, thousands of pieces of artwork, and millions of priceless artifacts. While some of these items have been found, much of it remains missing. Treasure hunter Darrell Miklos believes some of these stolen riches were loaded into specially modified U-Boats that are currently lying at the bottom of the Caribbean Sea. His evidence: two top-secret documents acquired over 40 years of research.

Ana Tramel is a brilliant criminal lawyer in her lowest hours. She receives a call from her brother, who has been accused of murdering the director of a famous casino. With a small team, she will have to face a huge corporation.

The stories revolve around Señorita Fernández's Funky Fonda, a place where Perro Pepe and the neighborhood children congregate. Each episode introduces Spanish via context and immersion rather than direct translation.

Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish, also known simply as Destinos, is an educational television program created by Bill VanPatten, who was, at the time, Professor of Spanish and Second Language Acquisition at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. The show, designed to introduce viewers to the basics of Spanish, had two seasons, beginning in 1992. Its 52 episodes are often used for educational purposes in schools and are still broadcast regularly on many PBS stations, as well as many local channels. Destinos was produced by WGBH Boston and funded by the Annenberg/CPB Project, with additional funding by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
