'Tales of Us' the film, is a thirty minute journey through five individual stories, each one based on a song from the new Goldfrapp album 'Tales of Us'. Stranger, Laurel, Jo, Drew and Annabel interconnect subtly, sharing themes of love, loss, madness, passion and identity.

The self-proclaimed "genre-queer” band, Sons of an Illustrious Father release their salacious cover of the Pussycat Doll's 2005 hit, Don't Cha, directed by Rafe Scobey-Thal and choreographed by Bobbie Jene Smith. As the band commented on their release in an interview, this song takes a "destructive, dated, distinctly heterosexual male perspective on women and discourses of desire" and transformed it into a "celebration of queerness".

This is a superb collection of live, studio work and videos and a must for anyone who likes rock music. Actually music full stop. Because this is a band of probably the best musicians you will ever hear. So what you get here is simply an amazing collection of excellent music from concerts all over the world as well as some videos from the time. Here you have the cheesy Knocking At Your Back Door and Bad Attitude to smokin live footage of Black Night (84) and Space truckin (85). While the dvd is mainly split evenly between the Blackmore years and Morse years, both are equally outstanding.

This incredible archive represents a great set of previously unreleased recordings in the Kinks catalog. The collection has been brought together by trawling the BBC archives, but also by inviting contributions from fans. Included also is a DVD of the bands sought after appearances on Top of the Pops and the Old Grey Whistle Test a well as concerts from throughout the band's career. This is a first for the band as these recordings have never been available in one place before. The film tells the journey of a mating of elements, two bodies grieve over a lost third: a child separated from their womb. The three bodies bound by their keratin, regain connection in a wombic journey which spiritually networks the three into a fused collective body.
