A camera tries to create a love story using lost videos on his memory card, but fate transforms these files into those of his ancestors who gave him life through a ritual. Magic, Surrealism and Queer Sexuality in the eyes of cinema now alive.

The virtual world generated by the real world of the twentieth century is growing exponentially, like an organism in a Petri dish. Crossing its own borders in to new zones, it absorbs its founders and mutates in to something absolutely new. In this new world real wars look like a game on americasarmy.com. Prison torture appears more like the sadistic exercises of modern-day valkyries. Technologies and materials transform the artificial environment in to a fantasy landscape of a new epoch. This paradise is a mutated world where time is frozen and the past is neighbor to the future.

A young artist is caught in a physical and mental battle against a supernatural entity that forces him to free it from its dark prison, ¿or is it just his imagination?

A homeless woman, a loitering housekeeper, a man who lost his key and the children hiding in the suitcase-hiding, seeking and chasing in the castle. "I'm going to meet the king. If you don't stay in the room and run out. Beasts will eat you up." In the empty castle. A loitering housekeeper looking for the body day and night. Woman chasing the king who lost the key. The kids who playing hide and seek in order to find the mother, regardless beasts outside and walk into deeper darkness.

Fragments of pottery. Gold, silver, jewellery. Contemporary art. Luciana Decker Orozco visits various museums and collections in London, tracing a homegrown past present on another continent. Each piece are windows that open and close, briefly revealing what they hide, a mystery that she encapsulates in her celluloid and magical editing.

STILL FRAMES is a laboratory film, conceived while I was finishing SARABAN. Indeed the two films were produced from the same images. The aim was not only to prove that the same source of image can generate two different films but also to highlight the incidence of light on color.

The creation of an infinite space. Light modulations over water surfaces, conjugating into multiple alterations. Time and light being reshaped through a liquid lens. The illusion of a starry night turns into a sea “roofed over by rainbows.”

The nation's water turns deadly and Dave remains oblivious to its lethal properties. Will he survive even more liquid jeopardy?

A Zapotec man from the future tells the story of how in the 21st century a new invasion of “foreigners” was afflicting his village. While people in Europe were suffering a crisis that made them lose memory and a sense of their culture, a group of youth in his village in Oaxaca was trying to document their own culture by making a film during Carnival rituals. While the youth are pushed to invite a director from the city to come help them, ultimately changing their project to be a remake of Ingmar Bergman’s THE SILENCE, a Swedish woman comes exploring in search of magical lizards that could be the next remedy for memory crisis back home. Characters mix and stories blend into each other in this absurdist and melancholic lo-fi/sci-fi story narrated as oral history with multiple voices.

As the day ends for a worn-out office worker, he encounters the mysterious gaze of a chimpanzee, sparking a silent exchange that prompts him to make an irreversible decision.

A theater group begins their rehearsal on a play about a witness' account of a massacre eventually leading to a confrontation and inner conflicts of the actors portraying their roles.

A silent city symphony, projected from gorgeous black and white 16mm film. Materia vibrante lets the resonating frequencies of the urban environment create the inaudible hum that keeps the engines of society running, absent of the inhabitants running around like little ants toiling away.

Memory is a collaboration with musician Noah Lennox (Panda Bear), exploring the relationship between a musician and filmmaker and their personal reflection on memories. From Super 8 home movies and entirely handmade, this film explores familiar memories, the present moment combined with past experiences and how it all seems to evade from our present memory.
