People's daily lives are threatened by a serial killer, Jack the Ripper, but Holmes deduced that a criminal organisation is involved. The murder was masterminded by Moriarty, a genius mathematician, at the request of a government official. Meanwhile, Holmes is reunited with opera singer Irene, an unforgettable woman who outwitted Holmes once before.

In January 2009, the Korean historical fantasy/drama The Legend, featuring Bae Yong Joon, having been turned into a Takarazuka-style musical by playwright and director Koike Shuuichirou, was performed by Flower Troupe and attracted a lot of attention. The story takes place at the time when the protagonist became the king of Gouryeo, which existed on the Korean Peninsula from the era before Christ until the 7th century. It tells of a repeating fate and agonizing love that has lived on for thousands of years. This time, it will be brought to the stage in a new version by a new Star Troupe led by Yuzuki Reon.

The franchise centers on "Starlight," a dance and dance troupe beloved the world over. Edmond Dantes, a young sailor from Marseille, is being dragged in chains to the Chateau d'If, a state prison. He protests his innocence, but the jailors laugh and torment him before locking him up in solitary confinement. A few short hours before, Dantes had returned to Marseille from a voyage at sea and been reunited with his fiancée, Mercedes. Her father, Pierre Morrel, promoted Dantes to captain as a wedding gift to the couple. Into the middle of this celebration came the soldiers to arrest Dantes. He is sure he has done nothing that is against the law, and promises Mercedes he will return soon. Then abruptly we realize that the story is being narrated by a bunch of high school kids, who are studying the book "The Count of Monte Cristo" in order to do a play. In their squabblings about dramatic interpretation, the kids summarize the more complicated parts of the story.
