In SOMBRA [SHADOW], inspired by Alberto Manguel's book "The Library at Night", Teatro da Pombagira talks about Censorship, of knowledge and of bodies; about repression, judgment and necropolitics, immersing the public in an environment that reveals the works which were hidden on the highest shelves, locked or even removed from circulation, whether for their queer, erotic or fanciful content. Throughout the performance, the audience can hear the whispers of excerpts from literary works that have somehow suffered from censorship, while the performers take over the space and create explicit imagery that sometimes collaborates in the staging, sometimes disorient understanding.

Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The STAGE Chūtō-bu- Regalia) is an upcoming stage play that will be presented at Hikosen Theater in Tokyo between October 14-24, 2022.

A long-simmering animosity between two families of Verona, the Montague's and the Capulet's, has recently boiled over, with members of the rival households brawling in the streets. One night, Romeo, a Montague, crashes a party given by the Capulet's in order to meet up with a young woman called Rosaline, with whom he is infatuated. Thoughts of her vanish from his mind, however, when he catches sight of Juliet, daughter of the head of the Capulet household. Juliet is equally smitten with Romeo, but her father already has other plans for her.

Six men, one woman (and her brother) come together with one goal - to make the play. It would be probably another common story that this theater group is composed of anti-heroes who float lost in time and space, in a town where it seems that the sun sets in the east. Led by Sasha, a director who has recently returned to his hometown, this group of socially neadaptiranih amateurs starting the fight to their demons and the prejudices that surround them in the society. National Theatre Live’s 2010 broadcast of Alan Bennett’s acclaimed play The Habit of Art, with Richard Griffiths, Alex Jennings and Frances de la Tour, returns to cinemas as part of the National Theatre's 50th anniversary celebrations. Benjamin Britten, sailing uncomfortably close to the wind with his new opera, Death in Venice, seeks advice from his former collaborator and friend, W H Auden.
