TV recording of the hommage to the Dutch lyricist Jurrian van Dongen. Van Dongen wrote countless song lyrics for theater and television. He has been writing for the children's program Het Klokhuis for decades. He also writes for theater programs by Wende Snijders, Jenny Arean, Paul de Leeuw, Alex Klaasen and many others. In addition, he was a teacher at a cabaret academy for a new generation of lyricists.

Youp van 't Hek cheerfully flits between the following four questions: What are we willing to die for? How high will we rise in heaven? What does heaven have to offer us? Why is life on earth such hell for so many people? Youp doesn't give any real answers because he simply doesn't know them, but his jokes do lighten the mood.

You understand, the latter wise man was Dolf Jansen, widely recognized as record holder for New Year's Eve performances of the Netherlands forever. Has he achieved something in his life ... In 2011, Dolf played his own performance and in between still the New Year's Eve, in close cooperation with Pauw & Witteman. In 2012, Dolf will play in specially selected theaters ... .. (roffel) ... New Year's Eve 2012 Exclamation Mark. Passed through the finished year, finished and boned within ninety minutes and sometimes at high (!) Pace. From Elfstedentoch-not to the fall of the cabinet, and if not then surely all other great events. And Nick and Simon, of course. With a lot of jokes. And shreds of poetry. So wise is it then again ...!

2017. The displeasure is cheerfully spreading. America is led by an angry guinea pig on an orange leather seat. Terror infests the old continent. But Belgians aren't fased anymore by this. Fear has become as banal as traffic jams, state reforms and grabbing politicians. Who cares? Time for a party!
