Karthikeyan, a liquor baron, sets out to take back his ancestral house which was usurped by Shekharan. To seek revenge, Karthikeyan abducts Shekharan's daughter and ends up falling in love with her.

Maradonna (Shanthnoo) is an aimless youngster who likes to waste his time doing practically nothing other than fooling around. For him everything in life is Oru Rasam (just fun). He likes to take the easy way out and lacks focus in his life. He is the only son of Joseph (Lalu Alex), a Banker and Mary (Ambika), who dotes on him. The only person who has a soft corner for him is the beautiful Sofia (Nithya Menon) who has a limp and is the daughter of a failed filmmaker, Kuruvilla (Vijayaraghavan). Maradonna messes up his life by getting into company of friends and starting an internet café that fails and to recoup his losses and attracted by ‘easy money’ he gets into drugs. Soon he is conned and loses everything after pledging his house to a ‘blade’ moneylender (Salim Kumar).

The film, in Malayalam and made by the Indian film maker K P Kumaran, AkashaGopuram is set among the Indian immigrant community in London and tells the story of Albert Samson (Mohanlal), a middle-aged architect who has clawed his way to prominence.

Zachariayude Garbhinikal is a 2013 Malayalam–language comedy-drama film written and directed by Aneesh Anwar. The film narrates the incidents in the life of a gynaecologist and five women who come into his life. Lal appears as the gynaecologist while Rima Kallingal, Sanusha, Geetha, Asha Sharreth, and Sandra Thomas play the roles of five pregnant women. Vishnu Narayan was the cinematographer and the music was composed by Vishnu- Sharath. The film started production in May 2013 from Kochi, Kerala and released on 27 September 2013.
