Taken from a live multi 16mm projector performance Sam Hamilton and I do. The Loops are from a film By Campbell Farquhar called "5 Second Exposure". This dates from about April 2006 and the performance has changed somewhat since. It uses up to five 16mm projectors, turntables, glass, and sonic and celluloidic manipulation.

Guima and Aras are star-crossed lovers in this sardonic tale of fruit and global genocide. One day, a black mango suddenly appears in Guima and Aras's tree. To eat or not to eat: that was their question. Toxic Mango is a silent, black-and-white film that ruminates on a dystopian future where the effects of the oil spill tragedy have reached nightmarish proportions.

Meta Ekologi was made in 1979 and is based on a performance by Sardono W. Kusumo and his group. They are shown in a pool of mud in a Jakarta slum, with the local population watching as the artists cover themselves entirely in mud. It's a response to an attempt at dialogue with the ecology of land and water. Humanity expresses its feelings through the body, trying to become one with the universe. Proxima B is an experimental video shot entirely in stop motion. The camera moves frame by frame in models on which video projections animate the sets. Some plant elements were added to the drawing, frame by frame.

In the summer of 1900, the first film camera was purchased by Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar for Iran, and immediately the first Iranian moving images were captured by this camera. These images, in an obsessive manner, have embodied the mesmerized gaze of people. In the span of 79 years since the purchase of this camera, Iran has undergone two revolutions and two coups, and throughout all these moments, the camera has been present as the recorder of people's mesmerized gazes. These mesmerized gazes are in a way as if they are the ones looking at us, not the other way around. It seems like these gazes are trying to convey something, but what? No one knows. Now, we gaze at those who have gazed at us from a distant time.

At the center are takes which do not change - a tree in a field in Vermont, U.S.A. Since the film was shot over a period of fifty days, the single frame shots create a storm of pictures.
